ALBANY, NY – The New York State Museum will be closed to the public on Saturday, March 17th to allow for testing of the Emergency Power System in the Cultural Education Center building.

The Museum will reopen Sunday, March 18th at 9:30 a.m.

The New York State Museum is a cultural program of the New York State Education Department. It is located on Madison Avenue in Albany. It is generally open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Admission is free.
