Decorative Arts
As with the fine arts, for over three centuries New York State has had a rich history of producing beautifully crafted decorative arts. The museum’s collection consists of furniture, silver, ceramics, lighting devices, and other household decorations. The emphasis is on items made and used in New York State; many items are labeled by their makers.
