Registration & Competition Information

The 2025 Capital District History Day Competition and Awards Ceremony will be held at the New York State Museum in March. The date will be announced before registration opens in January, 2024.

Registration Fee

Please note there is a registration fee of $10.00 per student, regardless of individual or group submissions. Registration WILL NOT BE COMPLETE until the registration fee has been processed, so please review the following payment information carefully.

Payment Information

Payments must be made by Check or Money Order (sorry, no credit/debit cards/cash)

  • Include students full name in the memo-line. If paying for multiple students, please attach a list including each students full-name.
  • Note: If a student's school is paying for the registration fee, the student will need to select "pay by check" during the registration process. Please confirm with your teacher before registering to be sure your school is covering the cost of your registration.
